Last year I met master sculpture artists Nicolas Bertoux and Cynthia Sah and was invited by them to stay at Fondazione Arked as the artist-in-residence during March 2024.
Founded in 2002 by Nicolas and Cynthia, Foundation is based in Seravezza, in the facilities of Studio ARTCO, in the historic marble sawmill adjacent to the Palazzo Mediceo.
The aim of the Foundation is to establish an intercultural centre to foster artistic projects, organise exhibitions and events, transmit technical skills, encourage the meeting of artistic experiences in the broad field of contemporary art, and create links with the main local and international artistic events.
